How do I use VMU Scrip & Gift Certificates on vickimarsha.com?
A credit card is required to place your order. Your credit card will be charged initially and an refund issued once you mail the certicates to us.

Please follow the instructions below when ordering with scrip or a gift certificate:

  • You will find a comment box in the check out section. Please add that you have Scrip or a Gift Certificate along with the amount in the comment box.
  • Print your order confirmation and send it along with the scrip/gift certificate to the address below. We suggest that you send it via a trackable service such as USPS Priority Mail.

Our current uniform supplier is not meeting our needs. What does Vicki Marsha offer?
Please call for an appointment. We would love to meet with you to show you what VMU has to offer. We are proud to be celebrating nearly 70 years of manufacturing and retailing quality school uniforms.  We are privileged to serve schools throughout Southern California.  We strive to provide the best customer service possible.

Do you stock uniform items all year long?
We do our best to maintain a complete inventory all 12 months of the year. Although we try not to, occasionally during back-to-school time we do run out of garments.  We recommend ordering before August to ensure receiving uniforms for the first day of school.

Do you have any sales?
Yes! We have a Winter Sale in February and an "Early Bird" in June.  We also offer "surprise" promotions throughout the year.  These promotions are advertised via email and social media.

How many uniforms does my child need?
This depends on your child’s school’s requirements, your budget and your laundry schedule. We suggest that you order at least 2-3 tops and bottoms as well as 1-2 pieces of outerwear for your child to wear on cooler days. Something else to take into consideration is that a garment that is constantly washed is receiving more wear and tear from the washer and dryer.

How do your sizes compare to other stores?
Our sizing may not fit the same as that of normal retail store.  If you are ordering for the first time we recommend your child fitted by a VMU staff member.  We also encourage you to refer to our sizing charts which are available right below the size choice on every product page .

How do I order the correct size for my child?
Take the time to measure your child. We have provided instructions for measuring along with size charts on our website. If it seems that your child is between sizes, it is recommended that you order the larger size to allow for growth.

I can’t find the right size to fit my child, what do I do?
If your child requires an item that is not listed in our size charts, please visit our Huntington Beach store. Our store staff will be happy to assist you and measure your child for a custom order. Special orders are our specialty. We can fit anyone.

How soon will my credit card be charged when placing my order?
Your credit card will be billed at the time your order is placed.

How soon will I receive my order?
Orders are usually shipped within 1 to 3 VMU business days. During Back to School time, orders turnaround time may increase to 3 to 5 VMU business days.

How will my order be shipped to me?
Most orders are sent via USPS Priority Mail. We ship packages “driver release” so if you are not home it will be left at your door. If this is not acceptable, your package may be shipped to a work address or other location where someone can receive it for you.

How do I return items to you?
You may return merchandise to our store or by mail.  To print our return & exchange form, *click here*. Please follow the instructions on the form carefully in order to make processing time faster.

Do I have to pay for shipping if I return or exchange an item?
Yes. The only exceptions are when an item is determined to have a manufacturer’s defect or when we shipped something incorrectly to you.

Do you offer layaway?
Yes. We offer a layaway program that allows parents to make several payments over an extended period.

Can items with a school logo be returned?
Yes. As long as the garment meets our return/exchange policy.

Can items that have name monogramming or an emblem be returned?
Not unless there is a manufacturers defect.

What type of guarantee do you offer for your uniforms?
All of our uniforms are guaranteed against manufacturer’s defects. We do not guarantee buttons from falling off, hems from coming out or shrinkage. These defects can be caused by the care of the garment or the manner that your child wears it.

Do you guarantee the knees of pants or slacks from tearing?
We carry the heaviest, most durable pants and slacks on the market. Our boy’s pants have double knees. Since children like to slide, crawl and spend a lot of time on their knees, we cannot warranty the knees of pants and slacks against tearing.
